Did you know that 90% of your long-term happiness isn’t determined by external factors but by how your brain processes information?

Take a moment to let that sink in. 90% of happiness depends on how you think about life.

Happiness is not determined by WHAT is happening, but by HOW you think about what is happening!

So why aren’t we all incredibly happy?

Why are more and more people struggling with mental health issues?

The first problem is that many people don’t REALISE the incredible power they have over their happiness by learning to take control of their thoughts. 

The second challenge is that it’s HARD to control our thoughts—especially in the modern world.

For example, through constant advertisements, we are being programmed to think we NEED a whole range of material things to have a complete and happy life.

We know we have fallen for the marketing, and into a mindset trap, if we ever hear our internal voice saying things like:

“My life will be better when I get that new iPhone, move to a bigger house, get a faster car, book a summer holiday, or buy a luxury watch etc.” 

By thinking like this—and treating happiness as a future destination—we are missing out on the journey of our own life.

Further, if we’re not happy, we can’t PERFORM at our best—which means we’re also missing out on living up to our full potential.

Happiness isn’t the result of success—it’s the starting point.

Happiness is often about perspective. Instead of focusing on what’s MISSING, shift your attention to what you already have. Appreciate the small things—a warm cup of coffee, the sound of birds singing, or even the ability to listen to your favourite music.

Stop taking these everyday joys for granted, and you’ll find happiness in the little moments.


🌅 Live in the Present

We only ever experience life in the present. The past and the future don’t truly exist in our reality. Yet, we often get stuck dwelling on the past or worrying about the future, missing the beauty of the here and now.

Take time to ground yourself in the moment and appreciate what’s right in front of you. Whether it’s a beautiful sunset, a song on radio, or the simple pleasure of breathing, life is happening now.


💭 Control Your Inner Voice

Your thoughts shape your reality. If your inner dialogue is negative, it’s no surprise that your day feels harder. Work on reframing those negative thoughts into positive ones.

For example, instead of thinking, “I have to go to work,” try, “I get to go to work and make a difference.”

This simple shift in perspective can transform how you experience your day.
